Art exhibition with artworks by Alexandra Benaki
METAMORPHOSIS

The opening of Alexandra Benaki’s solo exhibition, titled Metamorphosis, took place at the CONTEMPORARY ATHENS FINE ART GALLERY, at 1 Leventi Street near Kolonaki Square.
The event attracted a sizable crowd of prominent Athenians, journalists, critics, and artists, who crowded Leventi Street in Kolonaki to attend.
During the event, the artist began to create a portrait of artist and journalist Thanasis Lalas. The artwork will be completed by the end of the exhibition on October 1, 2022.
“Benaki’s paintings are full of colours, shapes, light, and fragrances, soothing the soul in times of adversity. This is how Alexandra Benaki documents her myth and her passion through personal experiences….” noted well-known painter Giorgos Stathopoulos in the catalog.
The exhibition will continue until October 1, 2022.

About the artist:
Alexandra Benaki studied Art & Design at Kent University and Fine Art at Middlesex University, in the UK.
Her work focuses on the study of the individual, relationships and values, with a strong emphasis on portraits and evokes the depths of emotion, conveying positivity through her storytelling.
She lives and works in Athens, Greece.
